With the conditions just about perfect, I though we were in for a great day. But it just didn't turn out that way. We started the morning on the lower river and never got a bump and there were no signs of fishing moving. After that drift we launched at the forks and drifted to Ruby with almost the same results. We did manage to land a jack, but that was it for the day. Everyone I talked to had the same type of day. Some boats had 1 fish, but the majority got skunked.

Still time left in the season for Smith River Kings. Call me and let's go fishing.
