It has been a busy week and will continue to be busy. My wife and I had our first baby on Tuesday at 8:45 pm. She is a beautiful, healthy baby girl. Between taking care of my family and getting things ready for guiding on the Trinity I have not had any time to fish. I will not be running any trips until late Sept. so that I can spend time with my family. When I get back on the river in late September reports will be coming in consistently so check back soon. I have heard reports that fishing on the Lower Klamath remains consistent. Some days are better than others with boats limiting out early in the day and other days guides are fishing hard to try and catch limits. Most of the fish being caught are in the mid 20 inch to 30 inch class with a few larger fish in the mix. As more fish push into the river the fishing should improve. Some fish are being caught on the Trinity already and by late Sept. and early Oct. fishing should be good and will remain good until early Nov. I am still offering a special rate for those who book their trips before Oct. 1. After Oct. 1 my rates will go back to there regular price. I have a couple of days open early in Oct. and a few in the middle of the month. If your interested in this and want a list of the days I have open email me or give me a call. Fish on, Patrick |
